Faizan Global Relief Foundation (FGRF UK) is deeply committed to supporting individuals affected by thalassemia and other blood-related illnesses, particularly vulnerable children. During the COVID-19 lockdowns, an alarming shortage of blood supplies put countless lives at risk. In response, FGRF stepped up and successfully collected over 86,000 bottles of blood, directly saving and improving lives.
In addition to addressing this urgent need, FGRF UK also launched Pakistan’s largest Thalassemia-Free Pakistan Campaign, aiming to raise nationwide awareness and curb the spread of this life-threatening condition. The campaign has included widespread testing and awareness camps across numerous cities, where thousands of individuals were tested and educated about thalassemia and its prevention.
By tackling both the immediate demand for blood donations and promoting long-term prevention through education, FGRF UK is making a meaningful and lasting impact. With the continued support of donors and volunteers, we remain dedicated to transforming the lives of those affected by thalassemia and other blood disorders.
